Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities, escalating issues according to established protocols.
Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor records to ensure accurate documentation.
Perform visual inspections of premises, fences, gates, and surrounding areas to identify vulnerabilities or hazards.
Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior.

Skills

Strong understanding of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems.
Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
Ability to perform basic first aid and CPR to assist injured individuals until emergency services arrive.
Familiarity with law enforcement procedures relevant to security roles.
Experience or background in military or law enforcement fields is a plus for understanding security protocols.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public.
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
