Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Security Guards for Mobile Patrol and/or Stationary positions in Sioux Falls, SD. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets, employees, and visitors. Security Guards will play a key role in crime prevention, emergency response, and maintaining a strong visible presence to deter any potential threats or incidents.

For Mobile Patrol positions, the role involves patrolling designated areas in a company-provided vehicle, performing security checks, and responding swiftly to alarms or incidents. For Stationary positions, guards will be responsible for monitoring entrances, surveillance systems, and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to address security challenges effectively.

Whether patrolling facilities or monitoring a specific site, our Security Guards are expected to provide professional, courteous service while upholding Blackstone's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols (mobile or foot) to monitor and secure premises.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any irregularities or suspicious activity.
Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents.
Provide detailed and accurate reports on daily activities and incidents.
Assist visitors, employees, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Coordinate with local law enforcement as necessary.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for mobile patrol positions).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand, walk, or drive for extended periods.
Prior security experience is a plus but not required.
