Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols.
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related roles is desirable not required.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
Strong skills in conflict management and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods while patrolling facilities.
A valid security guard license may be required based on local regulations.
Must have a valid Drivers License.
