Duties

Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
Control access by verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect suspicious activity, ensure safety protocols are followed, and prevent theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
Manage conflict situations using effective conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions and maintain order.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable.
Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
Background in military or law enforcement service is a strong plus.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
