Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on preventing incidents and responding effectively to any emergencies. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce company policies.

Duties

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Enforce company policies regarding safety and security protocols while managing conflicts effectively.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud situations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring surroundings.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.66 per hour
