Responsibilities:

Establish a downward trend in negative incidents, wither violent or verbal, by fostering a culture of safety and security
Respond to emergency calls and situations requiring hands-on security assistance
Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and security violations
Stand or walk constantly; Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift
Read, understand and clearly speak English to give and receive instructions, using phones or radios
Write detailed narrative reports, maintain daily activity reports

Qualifications:

Must be of at least 21 years of age and have your own personal transportation
Physically Fit with the ability to stand or walk constantly during shift also, run, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders regularly
Able to lift 50 lbs or more with or without assistance
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields preferred
Must be eligible to obtain a Maryland Guard Card
Must possess employment history demonstrating reliability and dependability
Able to handle emergency hands-on situations effectively while remaining calm
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently while also being a team player
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
