Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our team at a residential site in Kingston, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to respond effectively to situations while maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Available Shifts

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

(Weekend and weekday shifts available)

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches, unauthorized access, and safety hazards.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure only authorized individuals are on premises.
Conduct hourly site tours and maintain detailed activity logs.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies promptly and appropriately.
Enforce site rules and policies with professionalism and respect.
Prepare accurate written reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid NYS Security Guard Registration Card.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in high-stress situations.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
