Overview:

Kates Detective Agency, a licensed and highly respected security firm operating in Chicago, is currently seeking professional Security Officer/Drivers to join our growing team. This position involves patrolling client properties, ensuring safety, and driving company vehicles as part of security operations.

Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be 25 years of age or older due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate agency vehicles for patrol and incident response
Provide high-visibility security presence at client sites
Patrol designated locations by foot and/or vehicle
Monitor and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
Maintain professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service
Follow site-specific post orders and company protocols
Complete incident reports and documentation accurately and on time
Communicate with supervisors and dispatch as needed
Assist with emergency response and de-escalation, if necessary

Qualifications:

Must be 25 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Possession of a valid PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or willing to obtain)
FOID card preferred (for armed positions)
Prior security or military/law enforcement experience a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain alert, responsive, and professional under pressure
Must pass a background check and drug screening

Schedule:

Various shifts available including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible and dependable.

Compensation:
