Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accordingly.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance observations for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure swift resolution of incidents.

Qualifications

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to effectively respond to emergencies.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response plans.
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
