Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as they arise.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities in designated areas.
Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Skills

Proficient in surveillance techniques and operation of CCTV systems.
Knowledgeable in first aid and CPR; certification is a plus.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
Familiarity with security protocols and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
