Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
Document incidents, accidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
Ability to handle conflicts calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.23 - $24.36 per hour
