Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible greeting guests warmly in a polite manner and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
Knowledge in surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Document any incidents or breaches of security in detailed reports for further investigation.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to loss prevention.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is an advantage.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks or breaches.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
Must possess a valid security guard license or be willing to obtain one as required by local regulations.
