We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations regarding safety and security; intervene in conflicts as needed while maintaining professionalism.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts for management review.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure comprehensive security measures are upheld.

Requirements

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with CCTV operations and other security technology is an advantage.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail; ability to identify potential threats quickly.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
