Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of individuals on the premises.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report any suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide assistance during incidents, including administering CPR or first aid if needed.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Experience

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of conflict management techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention practices is an asset.
Certification in CPR and first aid is advantageous; candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
