South Florida Security Services is seeking reliable, professional, and highly alert Security Officers to join our growing team. Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the property and detect suspicious behavior.
Manage access control by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and staff entering or leaving the facility.
Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, assessing situations with a clear focus on safety and resolution.
Enforce facility policies related to loss prevention and unauthorized access with professionalism and tact.
Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations calmly and effectively.
Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external intervention.
Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately to maintain comprehensive records of daily activities.
Maintain surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems, ensuring they are operational and properly monitored.

Skills

Strong understanding of security procedures, conflict management techniques, and loss prevention strategies.
Experience with surveillance technology including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
Background in law enforcement, military service, or related fields is advantageous for handling complex situations confidently.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally.
Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
