Job Posting: Overnight Unarmed Security Guard
Location: Senior Building, Baltimore City
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM (12-hour rotation)
Schedule: 3-2-2-3 (every other weekend off)
Watson Protective Services is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Overnight Security Guard to join our team at a senior building in Baltimore City. This position is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and visitors during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and provide a visible security presence.
- Monitor and authorize the entry of vehicles and individuals onto the property.
- Identify and address unauthorized persons on the premises.
- Respond to alarms, investigate, and assess situations as they arise.
- Provide assistance to residents and staff as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports detailing daily surveillance activities and any incidents.
- Inspect and maintain security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure proper functionality.
Skills:
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and management strategies.
- Previous military experience is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment.
- Understanding of loss prevention strategies.
