Purpose for the Position:
To provide security for the hotel’s property and guests through vigilance and attention to detail, prompt and thorough reporting, and appropriate contacts with police authorities.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for guest and property security.
2. Responsible for monitoring property lobby, office area, hallways, stairways, public restrooms, parking lots, lawn, guest rooms and other assigned areas.
3. Responsible for entering and maintaining proper entries in the security log.
4. Responsible for reporting incidents to police authorities within specific guidelines set by the Hotel, or when emergency situations so dictate.
5. Responsible for guest relations when called upon to assist a guest who may request assistance, directions or register a complaint. Also responsible for offering to help any guest who appears lost, overburdened, or in a difficult situation.
6. Responsible for escorting guests and employees to their automobile when requested.
7. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
8. Responsible for being aware of activities outside, but on hotel property, related to the bar area such as guest congregation in the parking lot, parking problems, or interpersonal incidents which must be reported and documented (disturbances, injuries, etc.).
9. Responsible for assisting bartenders and servers with customers who become unruly, intoxicated, or otherwise ill-suited to remaining guests.
10. Responsible for achieving and maintaining a positive relationship with locally assigned police department officers.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all security and hotel reports/documents.
12. Responsible for achieving and maintaining knowledge of first aid procedures.
13. Additional duties as assigned by Manager.

Physical Demands: Medium work. Exerting up to 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking and standing.
Environment Conditions: Outdoors. Subject to weather conditions, dust, and pollen.
Requirements:
· High School completion or equivalent; college degree or vocational training a plus
· Complete with passing score the Certified Lodging Security Officer Certification via AHLEI.org
· Minimum 1-year prior experience in a similar position of dealing with the public.
· Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification, preferred.
· Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
· Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
Attendance:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by WCG, Inc. from time to time, is essential to be successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance/ tardies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Windsor Capital Group, Inc. rules and regulations and will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
