Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as necessary.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Assist guests with after-hours requests to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Confidently manage and remove unauthorized individuals or transients as necessary.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies and take appropriate action as needed.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring safety for all individuals involved.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Certification in conflict management is preferred.
- Experience in surveillance operations or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring techniques is essential.
- First aid and CPR certification are advantageous.
