Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- De-escalate situations with professionalism and calm
- Collaborate with law enforcement when needed, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and event spaces
- Check guest credentials (IDs, RSVPs, wristbands, etc.)
- Coordinate with event staff on any safety concerns
- Ensure local safety regulations and venue policies are followed
- Walk the grounds periodically and remain alert
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and conflict management techniques is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Stay cool under pressure and know how to read a room

- Are reliable, punctual, and professional
- Can stand/walk for long periods and remain alert during late hours
- Are licensed and certified (if required by local regulations)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
