Lead Day Shift Security Guard – Gated Community (Sayville, NY)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard to oversee the safety of a gated community in Sayville, NY during daytime hours. The ideal candidate will be alert, punctual, well-groomed, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and secure community access points.
- Verify visitor and delivery credentials (photo ID required).
- Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and delivery personnel.
- Report concerns to superiors and the HOA board.
- Maintain clear and accurate logs of daily activities, visitors, and deliveries.
- Handle situations professionally as they arise.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
