Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and regular patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure safety within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
- Operate CCTV systems efficiently for monitoring and documentation purposes.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as needed.
Requirements
- Certification in security training or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with operating CCTV systems and other security equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patrolling and securing premises.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the location of the job site.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
