Position Title: Armed Security Rover
As an Armed Security Rover, your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of a residential building. Your main duties will involve patrolling the area, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular perimeter patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
- Promptly respond to alarms and incidents, offering assistance when needed.
- Enforce community rules and regulations while remaining courteous and professional.
- Prepare detailed incident reports to communicate findings to the security management team.
- Carry and maintain a firearm in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts and ensure the safety of residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Class D Security License is required; a Class G Security License is preferred.
- Previous experience in security or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including standing and walking for extended periods.
Working Schedule:
Schedule 1:
Friday from 1500-2300, and Saturday from 0700-1900
Schedule 2:
1900-0700 on Saturday and Sunday
Schedule 3:
Thursday and Friday from 0800-2000
