A2A Security is hiring detail-oriented and professional Security Officers for a full-time position at a prominent luxury boutique located in Lower Manhattan. This role is ideal for candidates who value discretion, customer experience, and high-level vigilance in premium retail settings.
About the Role
As a frontline representative of both the boutique and A2A Security, your responsibilities will include:
- Access Management: Supervise entry points to ensure only authorized personnel and clientele access the premises.
- Presence & Patrol: Conduct regular walkthroughs within the boutique and nearby zones to deter theft, monitor activity, and ensure merchandise protection.
- Incident Response: Act swiftly, professionally, and discreetly in the event of emergencies or policy violations.
- Customer-Focused Security: Maintain a calm, composed, and service-driven demeanor that reflects the expectations of an upscale retail environment.
- Reporting: Complete incident logs and daily activity reports using A2A’s internal security tracking system.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail or boutique security position; luxury retail preferred
- Impeccable personal presentation and communication skills
- Able to remain alert, composed, and courteous in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
- Comfortable standing for prolonged periods and interacting with VIP clientele
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
