Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents promptly while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect and deter any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Operate CCTV systems effectively to monitor live feeds and review recorded footage as necessary.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when required.
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports on any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment including CCTV systems is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
