Responsibilities
- Possess thorough understanding of facility layout, emergency procedures & condo policies. Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Receive full briefing from previous shift officer & legibly complete designated reports & log book daily
- Respond to duress alarms/altercations & report all incidences in accordance with condo protocol
- Work cooperatively with outside agencies (eg. OCPD/Fire/Fire Rescue)
- Maintain clean and safe building-keep stairs swept and free of debris
- Monitor IP-based closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras
- Access Control for residents/visitors/employees/contractors/vehicles/packages
- Login & logout visitors/vendors/employees/contractors
- Patrol premises including parking lots and enforce community & towing rules-write violations when necessary
- Administer late arrival parking permits
- Challenge suspicious activity & report all incidences in accordance with condo policies
- Lock & unlock doors in accordance with condo policies
- Report all illegal activities in accordance with condominium policies
Skills
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- High school degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
