Job Summary:
The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store premises, monitoring customer activity, and checking receipts at the store exit to prevent theft and ensure accurate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Monitor store entrances and exits to deter theft and ensure safety.
- Check customer receipts against purchased items as they exit the store.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to management.
- Conduct routine patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, or disturbances.
- Assist with crowd control during busy hours or special events.
- Maintain a visible presence to promote a secure shopping environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or retail is preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
