Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are effectively implemented.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
- Provide first aid assistance when required and ensure that emergency procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
- Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Skills
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and operation of CCTV systems.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and practices.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
