We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively in emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance of individuals onto the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and report suspicious behavior.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain first aid supplies.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary for investigations.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Training in loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills are essential for addressing various situations effectively.
- A background in military service may be beneficial but is not required.
