Position: Government Center (Courthouse) Uniform Security
Department: Sheriff Department FLSA: Non-exempt
Work Schedule: Day Shift, M-F Status: Full-time
Duties
Responsible for the safety and security of the Government Center
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
ILEA Certification Preferred But Not Required.
First responder experience also a plus.
Regular deputy hiring process applies prior to employment
Starting pay $22.20/hour
Experience and proficiency with firearms
Complete State required training topics each year such as physical tactics
Good communication for dealing with the public
