Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken to mitigate risks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety compliance.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to protect assets and reduce theft or damage.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents for further investigation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment and techniques, including CCTV operation.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
