We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of property and personnel while adhering to all security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or incidents as they arise.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held is required.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to handle conflicts calmly and effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Pay: From $30.45 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
