Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to theft or loss prevention.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols within the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
