Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Control access to the facility by checking identification and issuing visitor passes as necessary.
- Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, ensuring all areas are adequately monitored.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations until medical personnel arrive.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when required.
Skills
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures; certification is preferred.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
