We are seeking professional and certified Armed Security Guards to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for clients, staff, and property. This role requires vigilance, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned premises on foot to ensure safety and security
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular perimeter checks
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity in a calm and professional manner
- Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
- Maintain detailed incident and shift reports
- Control access to restricted areas and verify identification
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- Checking people in and out that are visiting
Requirements:
- Must be certified as an Armed Security Guard in South Carolina through SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- High school diploma or GED
- U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Clean criminal background and drug-free
- Mentally and physically fit for duty
- Completion of SLED-approved training, including:
- 4+ hours of basic security training
- 4+ hours of firearms training
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and emergency response protocols

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
