We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in protecting property and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment for security breaches or hazards.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from visitors and staff while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring.
Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance when needed.
Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Understanding of law enforcement principles; certification in security or related fields is a plus.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in emergency situations.
Military experience is advantageous but not mandatory; however, discipline and attention to detail are essential traits.
