We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Armed and Unarmed Security Guards who are physically fit, alert, and customer-service oriented — individuals who can maintain control without unnecessary confrontation.

Position Summary
Looking for availability:
Tuesday-Thursday 4pm-9:30pm
Friday 4pm-9:30pm/ 9pm-2am
Saturday 10am-4pm/ 9pm-2am
Sunday 10am-4pm/ 9pm-2am
The Security Guard plays a key role in ensuring the safety of our patrons, staff, and property. This position requires both a commanding presence and a friendly attitude — someone who can enforce rules professionally while also being approachable to guests.

Responsibilities
- Greet and screen guests upon entry with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain a strong presence throughout the premises (indoor and outdoor patrols)
- De-escalate conflicts calmly and efficiently using verbal communication
- Monitor crowd behavior and prevent altercations or unsafe situations
- Enforce all venue policies and age verification (ID checks)
- Assist in emergency situations (medical, fire, or disorderly conduct)
- Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with management
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary
- Ensure all exits, entryways, and cameras are functioning and unobstructed

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Connecticut Guard Card (Armed or Unarmed) — required
- Pistol Permit (for armed guards) — required if applicable
- Physical fitness — ability to stand for long periods, patrol, and respond quickly to incidents
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work late-night hours (nights/weekends)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.81 - $25.06 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
