Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Duties
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals in need.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or issues.
