Seeking Full Time Security Guard for Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, NY.
Shifts:
Monday - Friday: 10:00AM-4:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Performs security patrols.
- Provides any needed assistance to staff, children and visitors following the department's procedures.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, obtaining signatures.
- Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any ad hoc tasks necessary.
Skills
- Outstanding customer Service
- Proven security experience
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Current NYS Security Guard License required.
