HIRING IMMEDIATELY
We are currently hiring for Security Officers for in the Spartanburg, SC area. These positions have a starting pay range of
$20/hr, dependent on site placement, and are
paid weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart.
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in-person.
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a professional demeanor.
- Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
- Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in physical security or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., email, incident reporting software).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, additional security certifications a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with professional building operations and tenant relations.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring.
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor patrols in varying weather conditions.
- Standing, walking, and driving a golf cart for extended periods.
- Interaction with tenants, visitors, and building staff.
