As a
Security Officer - Resort Entry Driver in
LONG GROVE, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control and conducting routine patrols within a hotel and resort location. Your presence and exceptional communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and people-first team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Monitor and control access to the hotel and resort premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Assist with security-related investigations and incident reporting as directed by management.
- Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence in designated areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to guests and employees.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
