Job Overview

CORE Security is hiring qualified individuals for positions of Armed Security Officer. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and the facility in which you are assigned. These positions requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to safety and security. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for monitoring premises, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and responding promptly to incidents.

Duties

Monitor assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Conduct regular checks/inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure safety and security.
Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies in a timely manner.
Assist with implementing strategies to enhance safety and security measures within assigned facility.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities.
Collaborate with outside law enforcement agencies when required.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Experience

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is mandatory.
Knowledge of conflict management techniques is essential.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention practices is advantageous.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
A military background or relevant security certification can be beneficial.

Qualifications

Armed Security Officer

Prior law enforcements experience and/or background in the security field is preferred.
Must be Act 235 Certified.
