Court Security Officer
The Louisiana Court of Appeals, First Circuit, is seeking a qualified, team-oriented professional to be a part of the First Circuit Security Department. As a member of the First Circuit Security team, you will provide security for the judges, attorneys, and support staff of the court.
Daily Duties Include
Greeting and processing all visitors to the courthouse through security checkpoints
- Monitoring courthouse surveillance operations
- Guarding the courthouse main entrance
- Responding to on-site security-related situations and coordinating with emergency personnel
- Patrolling and securing the courthouse and its immediate grounds
Requirements For The Job Are
- Three years of law enforcement experience
- Current P.O.S.T. certification from an accredited Louisiana Law Enforcement Agency
- Professional demeanor and discretion are a must
Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the duties described above, pass a background check, possess a valid state driver’s license, and have basic computer skills.
The starting salary range is $36,157-$41,000.
