Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including fences, entrances, and critical infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities or hazards
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors and intervening in potential theft or misconduct
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, offering immediate assistance during medical emergencies
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for continuous monitoring of premises
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while de-escalating tense situations
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable for tactical response skills
- Certified in first aid and CPR to provide emergency medical assistance confidently
- Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention methods, and conflict management strategies
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders
