Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals, packages, and facilities to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order on-site
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or fraud
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR to effectively respond to medical emergencies
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and experience with loss prevention techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security procedures, access control systems, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors

Pay: $21.60 - $26.01 per hour
