Security Guard II (Armed) – Federal Site

We are currently hiring Armed Security Guard professionals for full-time and part-time positions across various shifts (7 days/week) at a Federal location.
Position Overview
As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for protecting federally owned or leased facilities, personnel, and visitors. This role requires strong physical readiness, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in both routine and emergency situations.
This Security Guard position is ideal for candidates who are disciplined, dependable, and committed to public safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide armed security services at a Federal facility
- Observe, monitor, and report activities and incidents
- Control access to the facility through established admittance procedures
- Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access
- Identify and report safety hazards, security violations, and unsecured areas
- Preserve order and enforce site regulations and directives
- Protect evidence and incident scenes during emergencies or investigations
- Prepare accurate daily logs and incident reports as required
Physical Readiness Requirements
To qualify for this Security Guard role, candidates must be able to:
- Run 1.5 miles in 17.5 minutes
- Complete 19 consecutive push-ups
Job Requirements
- U.S. Citizen OR Lawful Permanent Resident who is a current or honorably discharged member of the U.S. Armed Forces
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Social Security card
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Ability to analyze situations and take appropriate action in routine and crisis scenarios
- Armed position – must meet all federal and company requirements
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a drug test
