Job Summary

In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct routine patrols, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will ensure a secure atmosphere while providing excellent service to all individuals on site.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security issues or hazards.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
- Support emergency response procedures by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services
Requirements
- Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols
- First aid and CPR certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security is advantageous
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with security best practices
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals in high-pressure situations
