The Security Guard is responsible for the safety and security of our staff, patients and visitors and protecting them from workplace violence. As a Security Guard they will perform a variety of duties relating to the security of the facility during the shift. They will also maintain effective interaction with the public and hospital personnel.
What You'll Do:

Responds appropriately to security codes and contact outside Emergency Personnel when appropriate.

Answer alarms/calls and investigate disturbances.

Monitors entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons during the night shift to guard and maintain security of premises.

Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors.

Staffs a weapons detection checkpoint at the main hospital entrance.

Complete work orders that include checking doors, and emergency exits and lighting for deficiencies.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required.

California Driver's License required.

State of California Guard Card required or must be obtained prior to starting work.
Job Information:

Per diem shifts; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Starting wage $25.08 to $30.40 based on qualifications.
Evening and night differential.
