Job Summary
The position of unarmed Wildfire Security is seasonal. We have a few last minute openings for Security Contractors throughout the state of Oregon who are available during, some, or all of the months between mid June through mid October. This contract work can be anywhere in the State of Oregon. An applicant must have his or her own reliable transportation and drivers license, be able to respond to a callout within an 8 to 24 hour window, camp outside at a "fire camp" for up to 2 to 3 weeks at a time (food and other amenities are provided). Reliable, responsible, self sufficient security contractors with good customer service skills would do well. Security responsibilities may include entry/exit checkpoints at the camp site, general surveillance of the camp, manning road closures, and patrolling specified areas.
Qualifier: You must possess or obtain an Unarmed Security Guard Card and have your Executive Manager certification with DPSST. We can provide direction to help you obtain these.

Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per day on average (Depends on the Contract)
Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: To Contract on State regulated wildfires such as ODF fires, a DPSST Guard Card and Executive Manager Certification will be required.
Work Location: State of Oregon (road closures and fire camps).
