Overton Security is currently hiring for an Unarmed Security Officer in the Pleasanton area for a local business park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Hard Requirements:
* Valid CA Driver's License with a clean record (Required)
* Fluent in both English and Spanish (Required)
* No issues with transportation or distance
* Customer Service Experience
* Ability to learn and adapt to technology (computers, smartphones, and camera systems)
* Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills
* Ability to walk/stand for an extended period of time
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented management environment while also working independently
* Ability to multitask and consistently meet project deadlines (attention to detail is a must)
* Well-developed organizational and decision-making skills
* Must be a self-starter

General Duties:
Duties Required, but Not Limited to:
Documentation via an electronic device throughout the entirety of the shift
Hourly driving and foot patrols w/ checkpoint scans
Inspections of Common Areas (Trash Enclosure, Vacancy Units, Roof Access)
Submit detailed reports with pictures
Shift Overlaps- 24-hour Service
Hold Over Until Relieved
Opening and Closing Procedures
Enforce Property Rules
Trespassing Enforcement (High Activity)
Parking Enforcement
Foot & Mobile Patrol Agricultural Account (Must have a Driver's License) (Must be Bilingual- English/Spanish)
This is a combination of Driving (vehicle) and Foot Patrol Posting. Candidates must be able to perform patrols for the duration of their shift.
Flex Officer Role-No set hours on a weekly basis. Please note that you must consistently pick up additional hours each week to remain active as a flex in our system. You can pick up shifts by contacting dispatch at 323-779-4000, Field Supervision, or Account Managers. If no additional hours are picked up within 2 weeks, you will be disqualified as Flex.
Training: You must receive prior training at any location you cover as Flex to ensure we provide the expected service at each location. All checkpoint scans, site duties, and reports must be conducted appropriately per site.
