Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees; manage access control procedures efficiently.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations; coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or security breaches and taking appropriate action.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and security technology is essential.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively.
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail; physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
